This month’s meeting was all about “America’s Tapestry”. The project that explores the story of our nation’s journey towards independence in honor of the nation’s 250th anniversary. Nancy B. explained how it’s made up of 13 hand embroidered pieces, one for each of the original 13 colonies. This project began back in 2024 and has had over 2,000 volunteers stitch on the panels. The NJ panel is coming to Hawthorne NJ from Oct until December.
