Another year another SOTM project!

On a day that seemed more like May than January, the SOTM group gathered to stitch. We welcomed a few new stitchers to our group – we are so happy to have you!

Most of us are stitching the “official” ANG SOTM, which is an 8-pointed star designed by Kathy Rees. Kathy used a dark red and a dark blue for her palette, alternating points of the stars.

Here is our start on the project. Several of our stitchers are using Kathy’s suggested threads. However, it wouldn’t be an NJNA SOTM project if there weren’t color changes! What do you think will be the second color in February for each stitcher? (Apologies to Janet as I messed up photographing her piece.)

A few of our members are stitching SOTM projects from previous years and we expect to have their progress photos in next month’s installment.  We also encourage anyone who doesn’t attend the session to post progress photos!
