Hi everyone,
I am new to contributing to the blog and am also just getting back to needle pointing again after a short hiatus. In the meantime, here is a pic of an old cross stitch project back when it was still in progress:
Despite the fact that I have more UFOs than finished and framed projects, this one is actually done and hanging in my living room:
WOOHOO! I see that you figured it out all on your own! Welcome to the blogosphere!
It sounds scarier and more complicated than it actually is. 🙂
What a beautiful piece! I am so glad you are blogging and look forward to seeing the UFO’s as you work through them.
Thanks so much, Carol! It really is one of my favorites.
So glad that you are now another contributor to the blog! The piece is perfect in that room, Mary. Thanks for sharing! As I recall you did the framing yourself. Most impressive.
Yes, I found a framed print in the right size on clearance at Jo-Ann Fabric & Crafts. Since cross stitch fabric is pretty pliable, it’s not so hard to stretch and frame at home. I still haven’t attempted framing a canvas piece because trying to stretch canvas doesn’t seem like it’d be as forgiving.
